Everything you always wanted to know about the usability of climate services (and so did we)! What the project team around Laura Mainetti from GeoSphere Austria discovered in their search for an answer to how best to navigate the climate service landscape, and where things might be headed in the future, was shared with attendees at the project's closing workshop at the Climate Lab in Vienna. Use.AT – a scientifically reviewed guide for user-friendly, useful, and applicable climate scenarios.

As part of the ACRP research project Use.AT, researchers investigated who has used the Austrian climate scenarios (ÖKS15) in the past, who hasn't and why, and who might use them in the future. Particular attention was paid to which climate services other providers offer, what challenges arise in doing so, and which criteria in climate communication are especially important for which user groups.
