There is no culture on a dead planet — An exhibition about climate activism

The exhibition "There is no culture on a dead planet" by Sandra Weilnböck and Hannes Hohensinner (Klimaallianz OÖ) can be seen at the Glaskubus of the Ursulinenhof Linz until 24 September 2023.

What does high culture have to say about climate culture?

We are at a turning point in human history, for only if we manage to decisively counteract climate catastrophe will art and culture continue to play a role in the future. Museums preserve records of our times for posterity. With this travelling exhibition, we offer — for the first time — a glimpse into the world of climate activists. Who are they, and what do they actually do?

We explore the question of "What is peaceful civil disobedience?" and how it can contribute to preserving our planet in all its beauty.
The focus is on ensuring that future generations also have a liveable foundation, which is why we also give children a voice. The exhibition presents our scope for action towards a climate-just future.

One thing is certain: the right time to act is now! We want to discover the HOW together with you.
