22 projects from Germany, Austria and Switzerland have now been nominated for the K3 Prize for Climate Communication. The K3 Prize, worth 15,000 euros, recognises initiatives that are finding new ways to motivate and engage people in climate protection. The prize, being awarded for the first time, will be given out in the categories of Civic Projects, Science Communication and Climate Journalism.

The 22 projects now selected by the jury are on the shortlist of applications from which the final prize winners will be chosen.

In total, more than 150 initiatives and projects from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg submitted applications for the K3 Prize.
