The programme "Transformation of the Economy" supports the Austrian economy, and in particular companies within the emissions trading scheme, in reducing process-related emissions. Austria is making a total of 100 million euros available by 2026, funded through the European Union's Recovery and Resilience Facility under "NextGenerationEU".

Focus of the 1st call for applications

Subject of funding: transformative projects aimed at switching to renewable energies for the permanent reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in energy-intensive industry.

Assessment criterion: ratio of the funding requested (euros) per tonne of GHG emissions saved (CO₂ equivalent)

Funding amount: max. 10 MEUR per submitted measure

Budget: 35 MEUR

Submission deadline: Friday, 21.10.2022, 12:00 (online and by post)
