Transdisciplinary dialogue with political stakeholders is key to driving forward the transformation of society. The UniNEtZ cooperation on Agenda 2030 with the Austrian Parliament, which began in September 2022, provides an effective platform for advancing this dialogue.

On 24 May 2023, the Parliament's Plenary Lounge was entirely dedicated to SDG 13 Climate Action. The thematic focus was on raising awareness of the urgency of implementing climate protection measures to counter the climate crisis, and on the opportunities arising from synergies with many other SDGs to enable effective action.

The UniNEtZ SDG 13 team had numerous stimulating and interesting conversations with SDG Ambassadors of the Parliament, Members of Parliament, and parliamentary staff from nearly all parties represented in Parliament.

Under the motto "The best way to predict the future is to shape it yourself," parliamentarians were invited, amongst other things, to share their visions and ideas for solutions in a Mentimeter survey.
