The VCÖ Mobility Award 2025 is this year running under the theme "Future-Ready for City and Country". We're looking for innovative projects that help make our mobility or freight transport more environmentally friendly, healthier, and more efficient.

We invite you to take part in Austria's largest competition for climate-compatible mobility and sustainable freight transport. International projects are welcome too. The prestigious VCÖ Mobility Award is run in cooperation with the Ministry of Climate Protection and the ÖBB.

Submission deadline: 28 May 2025

Submitted projects will be evaluated by an expert jury and thus brought to the attention of specialist audiences. Winners will be recognised at a formal award ceremony. A professional short film will be produced about the winning project and made available online (here you can watch films from previous years). Complete submissions will, if desired, be presented in the VCÖ online database for exemplary mobility projects, making them accessible to a broad audience.

If you submit your project by 30 April, you'll receive the VCÖ media package for the remainder of 2025 free of charge upon request. This includes the VCÖ magazine and VCÖ fact sheets by post, as well as the popular briefings by e-mail. If you're interested, simply send an e-mail after submitting your project, stating the name of the submitted project and your postal address, to mobilitaetspreis@vcoe.at.

The VCÖ Mobility Award is presented in cooperation with the Ministry of Climate Protection, klimaaktiv and the ÖBB, and is supported by Bikeleasing, the Federal Ministry of Social Affairs and Woom.
