VCÖ, Mobility Councillor Ulli Sima and ÖBB have officially launched this year's VCÖ Mobility Award Vienna. They're looking for projects or concepts for ecologically sustainable mobility or more sustainable freight transport.
The VCÖ Mobility Award 2023 is this year running under the motto "Shaping the Future Now". The transformation towards a climate-friendly and socially just transport system is important and urgent.
Who can enter the VCÖ Mobility Award and with what
Companies, start-ups, districts, schools, universities of applied sciences and universities, research institutions, housing developers, associations, students, initiatives and private individuals are all welcome to enter. You can submit completed projects as well as concepts, pilot projects and research work aimed at advancing the transport transition.

All submitted projects will be evaluated by an expert jury and thus brought to the attention of specialist circles. The highest-rated projects in Vienna will be awarded in autumn by VCÖ, Mobility Councillor Ulli Sima and ÖBB. Your project also has the chance to be recognised at the VCÖ Mobility Award Austria by Climate Protection Minister Leonore Gewessler.
Complete submissions will, if desired, be featured in the VCÖ online database of exemplary mobility projects and thereby made accessible to a broad audience.
VCÖ would like to offer early-bird submitters a special thank-you: if you submit your project by 30 April inclusive, we'll offer you the VCÖ media package for the rest of 2023 free of charge on request. This lets you subscribe to VCÖ publications (publication, magazine, fact sheet, e-briefing) and receive all issues by post or e-mail. If you'd like to take up this offer, simply send an e-mail after submitting your project, mentioning the project submitted and your postal address.
