VCÖ Mobility Prize Vienna 2021 for FH Campus Wien – RemiHub and Thaliastraße NEU also recognised

FH Campus Wien wins this year's VCÖ Mobility Award Vienna with the project "Fitte Wadln – Fitte Umwelt". A study carried out in 2017 showed that two thirds of the greenhouse gas emissions of FH Campus Wien are caused by mobility. Since then, FH Campus Wien has been implementing comprehensive measures to encourage as many of the 600 staff members and 7,000 students as possible to get to campus in a climate-friendly and physically active way — by bike or by combining public transport with walking. City Councillor Ulli Sima, VCÖ spokesperson Christian Gratzer, and ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG Executive Board Member Silvia Angelo presented the VCÖ Mobility Award Vienna to Raphael Hengl from the Health Management team at FH Campus Wien.

The research project by tbw research "RemiHub – Freight Logistics on Public Transport Infrastructure" and the redesign of Thaliastraße in Vienna-Ottakring were also recognised as exemplary projects at the VCÖ Mobility Award Vienna. More information on the award-winning projects can be found on the VCÖ website.
