As part of a webinar, the FFG is sharing information about the 8th call for proposals "Talente - FEMtech Research Projects". The webinar "Everything about FEMtech Research Projects" gives an overview of the key aspects of the call for proposals and highlights the relevance of gender in research. Using practical examples, the success factors of a FEMtech research project are presented.

The Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) is committed to initiating research projects with gender-relevant content under the "Talente" funding priority.

"FEMtech Research Projects" supports research projects whose subject matter takes into account the different lived realities and needs of individuals and groups. This helps to build acceptance and interest in the topic of gender in the field of research and technology, promotes innovation, and aims to create new market potential. The benefit for customers increases.

In 2021, the Federal Minister is focusing on the priority area of Climate and Environment, which is why this call for proposals has dedicated funding available for gender-relevant projects in research, technology and innovation with a focus on climate and environment.
