Lectures for Future 2020/2021
The interdisciplinary lecture series Lectures for Future, initiated and organised by the Scientists for Future community, is heading into its third round in October 2020!
This semester, ten Austrian universities and colleges are already taking part: Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, Technische Universität Wien, Universität für Angewandte Kunst Wien, Universität für Bodenkultur Wien, Universität Wien, Veterinärmedizinische Universität Wien, Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien, Fachhochschule des BFI Wien, IMC Fachhochschule Krems, Fachhochschule Kufstein Tirol
As part of the lecture series, researchers from a wide range of disciplines present their current work on the topics of the climate crisis, the environment, and society. Many of the talks are publicly accessible as online streams.
The full programme can be found here: https://scientists4future.at/lectures/
Overall coordination of the lecture series this year is handled by the Technische Universität Wien, while the organisation of events at the individual colleges and universities is taken care of by the local coordinators. The talks are provided free of charge and are based on personal commitment to S4F.
