Brochure "Austrian Tourism and Climate Change"
Under the motto "From Knowledge to Action", the topic of "Tourism" and climate change, along with its influences and impacts, was developed in collaboration with alpS.
The focus here is on results from interviews conducted and evaluated with tourism businesses across Austria. Particular attention is paid to the impacts on summer and winter tourism, financial losses are highlighted, and possible improvements to action strategies are outlined in order to adapt to climate-relevant changes through new offerings and to provide tourists with alternatives.
