On the eve of the 11th extraordinary general assembly, in October 2018, representatives of the CCCA members and strategic partner organisations gathered at the 7th anniversary celebration for a relaxed look back at the CCCA's achievements so far, as well as a glimpse into the future strategic direction of the network. Representatives of the founding board shared personal insights into their motivations, the early challenges, and the establishment of the association.
Alongside many representatives of CCCA member institutions, both ministries were present — the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF) and the Federal Ministry of Sustainability and Tourism (BMNT) — both of which, as long-standing partners and supporters of CCCA, have laid the foundation for the association's success to date. Section Head Jürgen Schneider and Helmuth Hojesky (BMNT) as well as Christian Smoliner (BMBWF) joined in toasting CCCA as the guest of honour.
