As one of the first CCCA projects, the book "Weinbau und Klimawandel - Erste Analysen aus Österreich und führenden internationalen Weinbaugebieten" was published by Dr Franz Prettenthaler (Joanneum Research) and Dr Herbert Formayer (University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna). Alongside analyses from Austria, studies from Australia, South Africa and South America were also compiled for this publication.
The book launch took place on 26 June 2013 in Graz. In addition to the scientific insights shared by the editors, the presentation also featured discussions on the regional experiences of a winegrower (Gerhard Wohlmuth jun.) as well as the expected impacts of climate change on the taste of wine, as presented by wine academic Philipp Schäffer.
