Teachers and students in years 5 to 13 (Mittelschulen, AHS, BHS)
Topic / Brief description:
The Erasmus+ project Clim@venture provides a free, modular education programme on climate protection, sustainability and green jobs. The content is digital, interactive and openly accessible. In addition, workshops are available for a fee: teachers can be introduced to the programme through train-the-trainer formats, or individual modules can be delivered directly with students at school – for example as part of project days or in-depth teaching units.
Thematic focus of the modules:
- Energy – with experiments on energy generation and use
- Climate science – making scientific foundations tangible
- SDG reporter – research & media work on the UN goals
- Green jobs & changemakers – video portraits of role models from the region
- Reflection & presentation – sharing & discussing learning outcomes
The workshops can be tailored individually to suit different needs, target audiences and circumstances – both in terms of content and budget.
