Klimatag Innsbruck goes green
The 15th Austrian Klimatag will be the first Green Event Tirol. http://ccca.boku.ac.at/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/GreenEventsTirol_Logo.pngDuring the organisation process, we're working together with Klimabündnis Tirol to make sure that, alongside our partners, we meet all criteria in the areas of waste, catering, procurement, venue/accommodation, energy & resources, mobility, social responsibility, and communication. This means the conference can have its positive impact without putting a strain on the climate, the environment, or indeed the people around us.
A climate-friendly buffet featuring Tyrolean delicacies is just as much a part of this as eco-friendly poster printing and the accessibility of the venue and accommodation by public transport, bicycle, or on foot. Communication and a shared commitment to making a statement also play an important role.
