Room reservations are possible until 28 February 2014.

We're working to organise the Klimatag as a Green Event Tirol and thus as climate-friendly and sustainable as possible. We thank all participants in advance who support this goal by making a conscious choice to travel by train, bus, or carpooling!

As an example, we've calculated the CO2 emissions for the Vienna–Innsbruck return journey (950 km):

  • Train: 47kg CO2
  • Car diesel (5L/100km): 124kg CO2
  • Car petrol (7L/100km): 160kg CO2
  • Flight: 304kg CO2

(Source: For calculation details see www.prima-klima-weltweit.de/co2/kompens-berechnen.php)

CO2 offsetting will also be a topic at the Klimatag. BOKU has developed a system for CO2 offsetting for flights. You can find more information here.
