Aims of the Klimatag
The Austrian Klimatag is a scientific conference that also offers programmes for an interested general public.
The 16th Austrian Klimatag
- aims to provide an overview of current Austrian research activities in the areas of climate change, impacts, adaptation, and mitigation.
- serves as a platform for exchange and networking amongst all individuals and institutions interested in climate change.
- facilitates networking between the natural sciences, socioeconomics, and the humanities and cultural sciences.
- promotes exchange between fundamental research, applied research, and practitioners.
- is open to encouraging and fostering dialogue, discussion, and networking between scientific and non-scientific groups.
- invites Viennese school classes to engage in dialogue with climate experts.
