Klimatag 2018

The 19th Austrian Klimatag took place from Monday, 23rd to Wednesday, 25th April 2018 at the University of Salzburg!

Goals of the Klimatag

The Austrian Klimatag

  • is a scientific conference that also offers programmes for an interested general public.
  • aims to provide an overview of current Austrian research activities in the areas of climate change, impacts, adaptation and mitigation.
  • serves as the central networking event of the climate research community, facilitating exchange and contact between all individuals and institutions interested in climate change.
  • serves to connect natural science, socioeconomic, and humanities and cultural science disciplines.
  • promotes exchange between fundamental research, applied research and practitioners.
  • is open to encouraging and fostering dialogue, discussion and networking between scientific and non-scientific groups.
