Klimatag 2018
Goals of the Klimatag
The Austrian Klimatag
- is a scientific conference that also offers programmes for an interested general public.
- aims to provide an overview of current Austrian research activities in the areas of climate change, impacts, adaptation and mitigation.
- serves as the central networking event of the climate research community, facilitating exchange and contact between all individuals and institutions interested in climate change.
- serves to connect natural science, socioeconomic, and humanities and cultural science disciplines.
- promotes exchange between fundamental research, applied research and practitioners.
- is open to encouraging and fostering dialogue, discussion and networking between scientific and non-scientific groups.
