The 22nd Klimatag took place under the motto "Pushing boundaries: Science, Art, Climate" from 20 to 22 April 2022 in Vienna. This time, the Klimatag was conceived and hosted in cooperation with the University of Applied Arts Vienna and the TU Wien.
The Klimatag kicked off with an Icebreaker on the early evening of 20 April 2022 at TU Wien. The two conference days (21 and 22 April 2022) were held at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, which, as a University for Future, tackles the challenges of the global climate crisis and focuses, amongst other things, on transdisciplinary and creative engagement with the subject. In this way, both universities played host to the most important interdisciplinary networking event of the Austrian climate research community. In keeping with the motto of the 22nd Klimatag, artistic (research) projects were presented alongside projects from classical climate and climate impact research this time round.
