Aims of the Climate Conference

The Austrian Climate Conference

  • is a scientific conference that also offers activities for an interested general public.
  • aims to provide an overview of current Austrian research activities in the areas of climate change, impacts, adaptation, and mitigation.
  • serves as the central networking event of the climate research community, facilitating exchange and contact between all individuals and institutions with an interest in climate change.
  • promotes networking between the natural sciences, socioeconomic disciplines, and the humanities and cultural sciences.
  • encourages exchange between fundamental research, applied research, and practitioners.
  • is open to stimulating and fostering dialogue, discussion, and networking between scientific and non-scientific groups.
