Registration and Abstracts

Registration and Submission of Contributions

Registration for the Klimatag and abstract submission are free of charge. However, registration is required!

In the new online registration portal you have the option to submit abstracts and register for participation.

As in previous years, we ask you to prepare and present results and connections from your research activities for colleagues from both your own and other fields. This can be done in the form of a talk or a poster. Please note that an abstract must be submitted for both. Through our online registration portal you have the option to upload abstracts, which will be reviewed by the programme committee after the submission deadline (26.1.2015). The abstracts will be formatted uniformly for the conference proceedings; in the online registration system you can upload the text components and figures for your abstract separately, without formatting.

Abstract submission is now closed.

Registrations for participation in the Klimatag will be accepted until 21 April 2015 (extended until 23 April 2015).

Information on the acceptance of contributions and on the Klimatag programme will be sent by e-mail to the submitting person, expected in early March 2015.

The ACRP Steering Committee invites project leaders of advanced ACRP projects to once again present their project results at the Klimatag in specially designated sessions. This will be done in collaboration with the Climate and Energy Fund. Separate information will be sent to the project leaders of the relevant ACRP projects.

Details on Abstracts, Talks and Posters

Abstracts
Based on the information provided in the online registration, abstracts for scientific contributions will be assigned to the relevant reviewers. The programme committee will then put together the concrete Klimatag programme.

Abstracts will be formatted uniformly for the conference proceedings. For this reason, no formatting can be applied in the online registration portal. Abstracts should be a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 1.5 DIN A4 pages in length; one figure may additionally be uploaded. A corresponding line limit is set in the online registration portal. Please note that the conference proceedings will be printed in black and white. Please design your figures accordingly. Please submit abstracts in German where possible; however, English-language abstracts will also be accepted.

The conference proceedings will be assigned an ISBN number.

Talk
Talks are expected to last 15 minutes. The language of presentation is German.
Talks may be published on the Klimatag website following the event.

Poster
Participants wishing to present a poster at the Klimatag are asked, should their poster contribution be accepted, to print it themselves in the appropriate format and hang it in the designated area at the Klimatag. The necessary materials will be provided.

Poster format: DIN A0 portrait

Posters may be published on the Klimatag website following the event.

Awards:
This year, the CCCA Early Career Award 2015 will be presented for the first time. In addition, the best posters will be recognised in the usual manner. More information...
