Climate Review Upper Austria 2023

2023 was the second warmest year on record in Upper Austria, behind 2018. Four months ranked in the top 5, and with the warmest September and second warmest October, Upper Austria recorded its warmest meteorological autumn. June and September, with deficits of 67% and 54% respectively, each rank among the three driest months of the past 63 years. April, August, November and December achieved rainfall totals that placed them among the five wettest of their respective months.
