Climate Review Tyrol 2023

2023 was the second warmest year on record in Tyrol, behind 2022. Overall, six months ranked in the top 10, and September and October were extremely warm, which in turn led to the second warmest autumn in Tyrol's recorded history. It was only in June that conditions were notably too dry. April, August, November and December, on the other hand, were exceptionally wet, making 2023 the rainiest year in Tyrol since 1999. At the end of August, heavy rainfall caused widespread flooding, mudslides and high water levels across Tyrol.
