We're already feeling some of the effects of climate change here in Austria. Ever hotter summers, increased pollen levels and more frequent natural disasters like flooding or mudslides are affecting our quality of life.
The rise in temperature in Austria is twice as high as the global average. We therefore need to take action to slow down the warming on one hand, and on the other hand we also need to implement climate change adaptation strategies to better cope with the changing climatic conditions.
