In 2020, Carinthia recorded its fifth warmest year in meteorological history. The year was 2.1 °C above average. The winter of 2019/20 is the second warmest on record. With extreme temperature anomalies of over +4 °C, January and February felt more like spring months. January, April and November were not only exceptionally warm, but also extremely dry and sunny. April was the sunniest month of the entire year....
