Climate Review Salzburg 2020

Salzburg recorded its fourth warmest year in meteorological history in 2020. The year was 2.1 °C warmer than the reference period 1961–1990. Precipitation was unevenly distributed throughout the year. January, April and November were unusually dry in Salzburg, while August was particularly wet. Averaged across Salzburg, the annual precipitation balance turns out to be roughly even, with slight deficits in the north and moderate surpluses in the south...
