Climate Review Lower Austria 2020

Lower Austria recorded 2020 as the fifth warmest year since 1883. The year was 2.1 °C too warm. The second warmest February concluded what was also the second warmest winter in the climate records. With an extreme temperature anomaly of over +5 °C, it resembled a spring month. Overall, the year was significantly too wet, with a balance of +19 %.
