What's needed is a consistent integration of social and ecological solutions. Drawing on her new book "Doughnut Economics", Kate Raworth will show how this integration can be achieved and what particular role thinking about economic relationships plays in this. | 18:30-19:45 | Klima-Waagnis with Hermann Josef Hack
At the invitation of the organisers of the Austrian Klimatag, Hermann Josef Hack will carry out an art installation on the evening of 24 April on Mozartplatz with everyone who wants to take part. He will attempt to create, for a moment, a state of balance that is only possible in community with many others. Through a connection of spirit levels balanced at the same height between the participants, one can sense how delicate the sought-after equilibrium is, and how rewarding the moment is when it is achieved together. Hermann Josef Hack founded the GLOBAL BRAINSTORMING PROJECT in 1991, under which he has so far realised over 200 actions and projects worldwide. As a painter, his works on tent canvases anticipate many global developments and create icons for transformation. The action will take place outdoors. Appropriate clothing is recommended. |
19:45-22:00 |
After the conference programme, participants are warmly invited to round off the evening with regional delicacies in a cosy setting. max. 200 places |
