CO2 Offsetting
The Klimatag 2016 aims to be organised in as climate- and environmentally friendly a way as possible.
This includes a climate-friendly buffet, as well as the eco-friendly printing of the
programme booklet and the easy accessibility of all venues by public transport,
bicycle, or on foot. Communication and the collective will to make a statement
also play an important role. The motto is: avoid and reduce climate-damaging greenhouse gases!
Any CO2 emissions still generated by Klimatag participants travelling to the event
will be offset by CCCA through the CO2 offsetting system of the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU).
Further information on the offsetting system can be found here.
Waste Separation
All venues have a waste separation system in place, and we kindly ask you to
dispose of your waste using these systems.
If you have any questions about Green Meetings,
Benedikt Becsi (benedikt.becsi@boku.ac.at) will be available as your contact person before and during the conference.
