Climate Review Tyrol 2021

Although 2021 didn't quite reach the extremely high average temperatures of previous years, it was still notably warm, with a deviation of +1.1 °C. Overall, precipitation conditions were largely balanced throughout the year. The particularly dry months of February and April were offset by heavy rainfall in July. 2021 continued the series of sunny years, with a surplus of 6 % in sunshine hours. Due to a prolonged heatwave, June was the fourth warmest since records began. Over the course of the entire summer, Innsbruck experienced 15 days as part of a heat period, compared to the usual five.
